GOODTWIN is an LA-based Indie pop project that kicked off during the pandemic as a creative outlet among friends in San Francisco.
They have won us over candidly with their first single as a band, “Gorilla Glue”, a song written during lockdown about “those special people that help you through low points, feel less alone, and find joy in the mess.”
It’s a smooth blend of 70s funk and pop with some absolutely smoking funky grooves and Nile Rogers esque guitar work, all tied together by some wonderful seductive vocals that tie it all together seamlessly. There’s so much rhythm and joy found within it, we are happy we have it to help keep us company during the last few warm days of this summer and year.
