Part 1: The Travail (Birthing Prophetic Realities) Pt 1 by Apostle Selman
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 KJV.
Do not confuse unseen with unreal because that’s our interpretation. Once I do not see it, I assume it does not exist. The Bible says we can see what is unseen.
There is a technology that empowers a believer to see the things that have not yet appeared. But God desires that they appear.
What Is Burden?
- A burden is a spiritual constraint.
- A burden is a strong feeling of heaviness.
- A burden is a weight.
- A burden is an unrest that is perceived in the spirit of a man, particularly the recreated human spirit.
Matthew 26:36-46 KJV
There Are Three Kinds of Burdens:
1. There are burdens that are of a demonic origin.
It is usually oppressive and destructive. So there are constraints.
There’s a level of heaviness in your spirit.
There is a level of unrest. But this is not of God. It is of a demonic origin.
It leads to oppression. It leads to destruction. Matthew 11:28 KJV, Isaiah 10:27 KJV
So don’t just embrace any burden.
2. There are burdens that are of a natural origin.
These are burdens that come because of your needs.
Burdens that come because of your daytoday issues.
Burdens that come because of worries and anxieties.
Galatians 6:2 KJV, Philippians 4:6 NKJV, 1 Peter 5:7 KJV
3. God sent God initiated burdens. Matthew 11:29-30 KJV
There are God sent God inspired burdens.
These ones are destiny activating burdens.
They are connected to the birthing of your assignment.
These burdens are prophecy on their way to being manifested. is the glory of God crying within your spirit for expression.
This kind of burden is a call to what I call the Godman partnership. When you begin to have those burdens, it is God calling you to walk in partnership with him so that a dimension of his glory will be birthed and revealed through your life in the name of Jesus Christ.
How To Turn Burdens Into Prophetic Realities:
1. The First Season That This Burden Leads You Into is Called The season of Separation. Proverbs 18:1 KJV.
It’s a season where only one man is permitted to walk. It’s a part of destiny.
They can intercede for you. But no man, no man, you cannot go through that season.
You may start as a prayer team. You may start as a congregation, but the moment you get to the season of separation, there are things that God cannot tell you in the public, you begin a journey where it is you and the spirit of God.
The first thing that happens to you in this moment of separation is self-discovery.
You never know who you are until you are left alone like Jacob and you begin to do business with God. You never know what you carry. People can suggest it. Dreams can suggest it. But there is something about you and God alone. No packaging, no lying, no telling whatever it is between you and God.
The season of separation opens you up to a moment of Self-discovery. That’s the first thing that characterizes that season.
2. Growth in Knowledge and Understanding.
When God is able to successfully separate you, he begins to grant you access to light, high-level spiritual illumination.
Some of you are in that season right now. You cannot explain what is happening in your life, but you just know that you are not comfortable being around people.
But this one is destiny beckoning on you. This one is prophecy beckoning on you.
You don’t become a winner in the public. There is a place called the cave of Adulam. There is a place called the backside of the mountain. That was where David was. David did not train in the battle. No, that was a place of execution.
There is a season when you are pregnant with burdens. It leads you to begin to search. You search by the spirit. When others are sleeping, you are awake. You will stay on one verse of scripture for two weeks. And you you don’t it’s like a well.
You find a well and begin to draw from. It doesn’t make sense to men. And truly, you don’t need to explain to them.
Intense moments of self-discovery and then growth in knowledge and understanding.
3. The third thing that happens to you when you get to this season is personal transformation. You begin to change.
As you expose yourself to prayer, as you expose yourself to the word, the flesh begins to die. It’s like a snake molting.
You come out of your fearful self. You come out of your doubtful self. You come out of your envious self, your jealous self, your lust-driven self.
There is a new you that begins to emerge in that place of separation.
God in the season of separation, God hides your report card. He never shows you your progress. So it does not distract you. Even when you are making progress, he will never show you how far you are going.
And the devil may even lie to your mind and say, “But are you really moving?” Yes, you are. He only hid your report card because he needs your undivided attention.
The flesh begins to die. Character begins to be built.
Usually at that point in your life, there are no results to flatter you. There are no results to deceive you. And even when you are making progress in the spirit, God will hide your card from you because he needs your attention. Less you be distracted.
It’s a human thing that in the presence of results, you become highed, high-minded, and so God will withdraw your progress from you. The journey is follow me. You will not even know how far you are going.
But the Holy Ghost will like a river, he will channel you. You you pray and learn the word and you may not even know what progress you are making. No basis of comparison. He takes away the results from you. A change of mindset.
God begins to work on your mind.
You discover yourself in light of who Christ is and in light of your prophetic assignment. You encounter the living word that brings you superior knowledge and understanding.
The Holy Ghost in the through the ministry of prayer and the word begins to evolve you. The flesh dies. Character is built.
What happens when you are in the season of separation?
You make very defining prayer investments. Very defining. It’s a season of intense prayer investments. Prayers with no prayer points. Intense prayer investments.
This prayer investments are for intimacy. They are for your transformation and they begin to initiate the process for your empowerment. It is this prayer that begins to draw the anointing that will be needed for your destiny.
You will not pray two weeks and have it. This one has to become an addiction. You stay there and stretch through. Acts 6:4 KJV
Someone shout I will pray. Like you are receiving the grace for prayer. Say I will pray.
Prayer is not for men of God. It is a protocol to birthing the glory. The season of separation demands prayer investments.
When you step into seasons of manifestation, that’s not when to build the foundation of prayer. That’s when to consolidate on the years of prayer.
There is no gift of prayer. Prayer is a sacrifice. Prayer is a discipline. There is an engracing. But you do the praying.
Prayer investments. In prayer, you redeem years. In prayer, you redeem decades.
When that burden is there, pray. Pray again.
Shout, I will pray.
It’s a season where you begin to make very strategic prayer investments like a man sending vapor to your clouds because one day it will rain and that is the rain that will turn your wilderness into a fruitful vine. Ecclesiastes 11:3 KJV
2. The season is called the season of silence. This is where you will live in the silence of God. Luke 1:80 KJV
Never call your time of silence a waste
Galatians 1:18 KJV, Ephesians 3:3-6 KJV
It’s a very strange season because like I said you will learn how to walk by faith. You will live in the silence of God.
And there is a strategy for surviving that season because Satan is an opportunist.
If you are not mentored to understand spiritual things, he will cash in on that season and make you abort something you were doing right. Because you see, he will interpret the silence of God as something wrong with you. It will threaten your sense of righteousness.
This is the season where your actions are right, but you don’t see results.
Everything is right. You don’t need to change anything. Now, we have this illusion that every time results don’t come, change what you are doing. It’s not always so. There are times you just need to keep going. That’s it. There is absolutely nothing wrong.
Listen, when there is a contrast between your good doings, your alignment, the sincerity of your obedience and the result, you are praying but you are not seeing results.
Sometimes it’s not about changing things. Just stay there. This is where you appreciate the staying power, the stamina, the grace to remain. It’s not always about changing things. You are not always wrong.
How to live in this season:
1. You must learn patience and persistence. Hebrews 10:36.
Notice that there is a gap between doing the will of God and receiving the promise.
You have need of patience after you have prayed, you have fasted, you have given, you have obeyed the word.
And you are beginning to ask your is something wrong with me? Nothing is wrong. Stay. Learn to live in the silence of God.
Stay. Turn to someone and say stay. Become a prophet. Say stay. Galatians 6:9 KJV
For in any season, in any season, no there is what we call due season.
Ladies and gentlemen. There is a due season in the spirit where your destiny collides with the grace, collides with the anointing, collides with the mantle.
Say yes. Yes to that anointing. Yes to that season.
2. Fix your eyes on Jesus.
Fix your eyes on your vision. Don’t bend. Don’t change. Don’t waste your time explaining your life to others.
You don’t need to explain your life. You must learn to walk by faith. Ladies and gentlemen, when God is silent, keep moving.
Walk with the last instruction that came and keep moving.
There are times you will not hear his voice. When you don’t hear his voice, trust his presence.
God speaks, but he does not always speak. He did not guarantee that you will hear him every day and every time, but he guaranteed his presence all the time. Deuteronomy 31:6.
The silence of God is a language itself. He’s teaching you to walk by faith. by faith. No guarantees, but trust him. Isaiah 43:1-2, it will not burn you. Fear not. Fear not.
Every time your humanity takes over, don’t give up. Don’t be discouraged. God is not mad at you. But learn to lean on Jesus.
The Bible says we see not our signs and we do not know how long. But I bring you a word of comfort. You are in the season where you are dwelling in the silence of God. It’s not because he’s mad at you. It’s not because anything has happened to your righteousness. It is not because your of lack of obedience. It’s a phase.

The Other Side of Faith by Apostle Selman
When prayer does not produce result, just give thanks because it means the wisdom of God is working out something. This is spiritual education. This is how maturity happens.
Never charge God with unfaithfulness. It is the wisdom of the spirit. He knows what he’s doing.
I tell you this, ladies and gentlemen, the one who can survive the silence of God is ready to birth glory.
You see by the mercies of God there are some of us who because of that training we never harass God whether we see we’ve left that realm he’s he’s called faithful in our lives There is a dimension you get to in God where you lose the ability to complain you have trained yourself to always see his faithfulness and even when there are no answers for you it’s thanks thanks thanks that even though he slay me yet will I trust him
We walk by faith. When God is silent, trust his presence even when you don’t hear his voice. There are times God is mysteriously silent.
Every time you do not hear God, stay in the place of the last instruction. Stay there. Stay there.
Every time righteousness leads you to trouble, rejoice. Every time your loving Jesus lands you in trouble.
Beware of two places. The prison and the cross. There are two mysterious places. Never judge anyone you see there because you may be judging Joseph. The prison is a mysterious place. It’s a waiting room. The prison is not always a place where criminals stay. God disguises the prison also as a waiting room. There are men in the prison who did not get there by stealing. They got there because the word of the Lord is still trying them. So while you are generalizing and calling everyone a prisoner, make sure you don’t accuse Joseph.
The second place where you have to be aware of is the cross. Not everyone on the cross is a thief. You may be insulting your savior because he joined the thieves on the cross. Many many people historically always persecute their saviors because somewhere in a savior’s making he finds himself together with criminals. Not because you sinned but because you are carrying a burden. A burden can make you look like a criminal. Sometimes you are subjected to the disciplines of criminals.
3. You no longer care whether the result happens or not.
You will remain in that season until you become detached to results. The goal of that season is to bring death that produces glory.
It gets to a point where you no longer care whether the results happen or not. Your joy is now connected to him, not things.
Those who eventually obtain are those who have the power to lose. This thing called the power to lay it down happens during that season.
Ladies and gentlemen, at that point, you have gotten into deep waters in the spirit. where the arrival or the departure of things no longer affect you. You are ready to be a witness.
When God trains you well, you get to a point where you become a celebrity without a celebrity mentality. Whether it’s a crowd or one person, it doesn’t matter. That appetite died when you went through that second trimester.
It is not time, It is death that determines your exit from that season. The day you die to things, when the coming in and the going out of things no longer affect your relationship and your self-worth, you are ready to exit that season.
God will rather work on you and cover you until he prunes you.
3. The last and final trimester that leads you to the travail that births the glory is called the season of manifestation.
The Bible calls it the season of showing forth. Is the word dozazzle, the manifestation, the display of the glory of God.
This, ladies and gentlemen, is a season of results, is a season of showing forth, is a season of glory.
Just when you are about to enter this season, you know it because one of the greatest attacks, demonic attacks, they wait at the corridor of the season of silence to the season of manifestation. I’m giving you spiritual intelligence.
When Satan does not stop the pregnancy, your intimacy brought it. It was not his business. It was between you and God. Like a bride and her husband. And now he tried to walk you through offense and the rest. He will wait at the point of delivery. He knows.
Revelations 12:1-5 KJV
The Bible calls it a wonder in heaven.
You know why Satan knows you are stepping into that season? Because prophetic seasons have angels are not only laborers, they are also they function as midwives. They minister to the saints. So when there’s unusual angelic activities, Satan knows that something is about to be born. It will attract his presence and his interest.
Now scripture has three layers. In studying scripture there are three layers.
-
There is what we call the historic or archaeological layer.
So you study scripture based on the historic and archaeological composition. -
Then there is the doctrinal or contextual layer.
So you study scripture based on its doctrinal component. You draw out the pieces of information that connect to the revelation of God, his salvation plan, and the revelation of Jesus. That’s the arrow that leads to doctrine from Genesis to Revelation. - But there is a prophetic layer of scripture where the Holy Ghost can walk through scriptures that do not correlate with your situation but draw light from it and give you a Rama word.
It is very strange how manifestations happen because they happen fast.
When you get to this sense you must pray again.
Unfortunately of all the training period the most visible part is this one. That’s why people belittle every other thing. It’s like an iceberg. You only see the tip when it’s visible, not knowing that the major part is hidden.
Because you see the glory that comes out from that birthing can make you look like God before men. Men will literally want to worship you. But from the residue of your training, you would tell them, “No, no, no. Worship God.”
Now, those who don’t complete this training are the ones who don’t last when the door opens. One year of manifestation and pride eats them up because they jump the school of the spirit.
The final lap of prayer before the birthing happens is warfare. It’s not prayer for edification. Edification happened there. This one you are going to confront. You will confront demonic spirits.
If you’ve never believed in warfare, wait till your season is about to open.
At that point is a test of stature, You will pray.
When you get to your season of appearing, anything can be used by God to announce you. Anything, anything, anything, anything. Doesn’t have to be a special program.
God will schedule your destiny helpers and then just bring you in their midst. And they’ll be wondering, “Where have you been?” That’s when you will know is the hand of God. That’s when you will know he’s the lifter of men.
Hallelujah. Praise the name of the Lord.
Yes. That God can possibilities are a commodity. It has substance in the spirit. You can receive the gift of it that something that could not happen in your life now begins to happen in your life.

Therefore, in the name of Jesus, everyone ordained of God for the next 365 days to show up in your life, to show up in your ministry as an instrument of God’s mercy, to hold your hand and help you scale to another level. Wherever you are, I place an anointing on your head and I gravitate helpers to your life. I gravitate helpers to your life. Divine connectors to your life, men of influence to your life, gifted men to your life, burdenbearers to your life. Again, I say divine connectors, I call them to your life. I call forth men of influence to your life. I call forth gifted men to your life. And in the name of Jesus, I call for burdenbearers to your life in the name of Jesus.

I release that grace upon you now in the name of Jesus. And by prophecy, I announce to you, welcome to your new season. Welcome to the season of glory. Amen. Welcome to the season of power. Welcome to the season of speed.
Shout Amen seven times.
Rejoice in the Lord for one moment. Come on, rejoice. Hallelujah. Somebody rejoice. Rejoice in the Lord. Hallelujah. Rejoice in the Lord. Glory.
It’s a new season. Zion has travailed. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. In Jesus name.
Lift it high above your head. Say this after me as loud and as clear as you can. Say, “Lord Jesus.” Lord Jesus. Again, say, “Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus, I love you with all my heart. I love you. I believe in my heart. I believe in my heart. That you are the son of God. You are the son of God. I believe you died for my sins. Right now, I receive Jesus. I receive into my heart. My heart as my savior. My Lord, my Lord and my King. I declare that the power of sin, Satan, hell, and the grave, is broken over my life. From tonight, I’m a child of God. I go forward ever. And backward never. Amen.
Father, thank you so much for this ones. The Bible declares that as many who come to you, you will in no wise cast away. They have come declaring your lordship. I decree and declare over them the grace that saves, the grace that keeps. May it be effectual. May it be at work in your life. I call you bonafide recipients of the life of God. The grace to live the victorious Christian life. I release upon you in Jesus mighty and matchless name we pray. Amen. And Amen.
